A walk in the park…

Hello everyone, Alexandra here with a blog post!

If you tuned in on Wednesday to see Jenny demonstrate the gorgeous new sets on Create and Craft, you will have seen a few of my cards that had autumnal leaves on them. I seriously love that set and had a big play, stamping, cutting out and distressing leaves of different colours.

For the card I want to share with you today I used some of those same leaves again and incorporated a bit of background stamping as well.

It’s one of those cards that come together quickly and easily if you got the bits lying around anyway and just play. If I had to create it from scratch (i.e. cutting out those leaves again) it would have been a lot longer ๐Ÿ˜‰

I stamped directly onto the card blank in Memento Dandelion Yellow, Potters Clay, Pear Tart and Cottage Ivy, the sentiment is stamped in Brilliance Chocolate Pearlescent (the sheen doesn’t show up in pictures unfortunately…). All I had to do then was choose my leaves and arrange them so it looked like they were falling down. Easy peasy lemon squeezy ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh and before I forget, I used Falling Leavesย and Sunny Day Greetings, the leaves were distressed with Walnut Stain and Aged Mahagony Distress Ink.

Hope you like it!
