Hi everyone Laura with you all today, hope you all watched the fab shows with Jenny in June.
I thought I’d share a make with you, with my favourite of the new stamps Floral mix,
To start with I made a 6×6 card blank and cut a layer of blue card stock to mat onto the card base.
I then used one of my Tim Holtz stencils and added the pattern with texture paste.
Stamp each flower out twice with versa ink pad and heat emboss with white embossing powder, when colour in using your preferred alcohol ink pens.
Place the flowers layered up around a circle die cut with the sentiment stamped on it to finish,
hope you enjoyed todays card

Hi everyone from a rainy south Wales, the sun has well and truly disappeared down here, I hope it’s a bit sunnier where you are.
Wow did you catch Jenny on create and craft this week? What a busy show and you all must love the new sets as much as me cause they sold out!
So for today’s post I thought we could look at the cutie pie that is Dudley. I really love this set and it’s a set that is going to be used time and time again for me and as my mum loves donkeys I think you can guess what stamps I’ll be using to make her birthday card in a few months.
The first card I’m going to show you is a fairly simple card I have stamped Dudley or I guess in this card it could be Dilly along a strip of water colour card, coloured with spectrum aqua pens and added the sentiment from the same set on the side.
I hope you also like this card I have made by cutting the bits out and layering them up it gives a 3D effect and you can also change the angle of Dudley’s head.
I have also made one of the wooden frames up from the Christmas set but it just goes to show that they do not need to be for Christmas,
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s post, be back soon Laura x
Hi Everyone!!! I hope that you all had a lovely Christmas and I hope that you all have a wonderful new year, late I know but this is my very first blog post of the year.
For my first blog post and my first non Christmas card for quite a while, I had to use this beautiful Open Flower stamp.
What I did is stamped them onto craft card and then coloured the flowers in with my clear Wink of stella (that is in the winter sale at a amazing price!) by picking up some red from my red wink of stella to give it a more subtle colour.
I have then used a sentiment from the very lovely Friend set to go with the flowers.
Hope you’ve enjoyed todays make ill be back soon
Hi everyone waw where are the moths going it is almost November! Well as we have seen such lovely Christmas stamps on the last Hobby Art show i thought I would show you some of my makes for the last show.
For this card I’ve used Rodney the reindeer and I’ve also used these really fun papers from the Nordic Christmas 6×6 pad. I’ve coloured the reindeer using my spectrum noir pens and used distress inks for the background.
I used one of the wooden shape baubles and painted it with a coat of white gesso, then I stamped Derrick the fox on the baubles with memento ink pad and coloured it in using my spectrum noir pens.
Hi everyone Laura here with you today, I hope your all well. Waw what a show Jenny had the other week loads of sell out, if you, missed out on anything check the hobby art website as things are now back in stock!
Today I’m sharing two makes with you from the show using the so so cute Norman & friends and Georgie & robin. I love these snowmen they are just lovely.
First here is the Norman & friends card with a sentiment from the winter wishes set, iv also paper pieced Norman scarf to match the backing papers. I also used the fun White fluffy stuff and it is now back in stock on the website, so fun to use and gives such a lovely affect.
For the Georgie & robin card I’ve stamped him on to acetate and then coloured the back in with paints. I’ve then stuck it down doming it slightly so that he sticks out, I’ve also just stamped a little bit of background on the bottom using the Farmhouse scene-it set.
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s post ill be back soon with some more samples from the show,

Morning everyone Laura here today, I hope you are enjoying the blog? The Design team are showing you all their lovely work.
For today’s post I’ve decided to step away from the Christmas cards for today and make a birthday card using the super, super cute Ellie rubber stamp that I’ve coloured in using the Spectrum noir pencils.
I’ve then cut some of the flowers out from the backing paper to use as embellishments to decorate the card,
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s blog post
Until next time

With the very talented Jenny! Wow loads of great products to choose
From and how fun if fluffy stuff!
For my post today I’m going to share two cards I’ve made using the rubber stamps
On the shows, the pretty Poinsettia tree and so beautiful
Robin on wellies, these are lovely stamps to work with,
First I’ll show you the Poinsettia tree card iv made, I stamped the image and coloured It in with wink of stella’s, I then stamped the image again and coloured in the poinsettia flowers, the cut the flowers out and stuck those to the other coloured image to add a little dimension.
For my second card iv used the robin on wellies and have coloured the image in with spectrum noir pens and then added White fluffy stuff all over the bottom of the wellies and a little on the top, you then just heat it after you’ve placed it on your card and it and it just fluffs up! Great fun!
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s post I have loads more cards to show you from the show so I’ll be back soon
