Hi everyone it’s Laura here today, hope you are all keeping well. I couldn’t resist another play with the monthly special set Vintage Flowers, Its just sooo pretty.
For this card I started with a 6×6 card blank and cut a sheet of white stamping card down to fit onto the card leaving a thin black border around edge.
I’ve then continually stamped the flower stamp all over the piece of stamping card using black versa fine ink pad.
Then stamp your distress ink pad on to your glass mat and add a little water to them, so they can be used to water colour. The colours I’ve used are barn door, spiced marmalade and mustard seed.
Once all the flowers are coloured I then coloured the petals and stems in the same way using bundled sage.
I then distressed and edges with a distressing tool and added some spiced marmalade and barn door to the edges to add some colour to the edges.
Then I cut a thin strip of stamping card and stamped the sentiment onto it, then I’ve distressed the edges and added colour in the same way, then matted that to some black card stock and placed it down with two brads.
Beautiful card.
Beautiful. Some of my favourite distress ink colours.xx
