A quick christmas card

Hello, Alexandra here.

It’s my turn for a blog post today and I thought I would share a quick christmas card I made with the lovely Poinsettia Tree stamp.

I started out with a piece of kraft cardstock (4 inches square) and stamped the image in Versamark before embossing in gold detail Embossing powder.

I used Prismacolor pencils to add some colour to the poinsettias, holly leaves, star and snow to the ground, blending with blending fluid and a paper stump. Glossy Accents over the star and poinsettias give them shine and while it was still wet I sprinkled a little bit of yellow fluffy stuff into the center of each flower. With the help of the tip of a toothpick I applied white Enamel Accents to the mistletoe berries and some of the other dots.

Here is a more detailed view:

The panel was then matted onto red mirri cardstock (4,25 inches square) and white (4,75 inches square) and then glued to a kraft card blank and finished with a sentiment from Christmas Post.

Easy peasy, hope you like it!
