Good morning all, Lisa. B here….
Welcome to the fabulous New Hobby Art Blog.
Exciting times are ahead as Hobby Art launch their fantastic new website as well……..
You will be able to keep up to date with all the new products, exciting events and gorgeous inspiration from the fantastic Jenny Mayes and the Hobby Art Design Team…..
I have some projects to show you from the last Create and craft show that Jenny did.
These are just some of the samples that I made using the Gorgeous Butterflies stamp designed by Sharon Bennett……. I love butterflies and here you can see that you can achieve sooo many look using the same stamps and altering the colours and techniques…..
This first one I made as an open picture frame using Distress Inks, I also used the Hobby Art Silhouette Grasses Stamp……
The second project was a wall hanging and I kept it in sepia tones and again used the Silhouette Grasses Stamp. I also stamped and embossed some butterflies on vellum and 3d’d them…..
For the third card I kept it nice and fresh, you can see I love the Silhouette Grasses Stamp….
A totally different look for the next one…..I stamped with a clear pad and white embossed the images and then used it as a resist and worked my inks over the top.
I also stamped and embossed on the background paper……
And lastly a more vintage look, using some clever masking and mixing the stamps…..
I do hope that you will take the time to follow the blog as Jenny, Becki and all the team work so hard in bringing you up to date inspiration for all the gorgeous Hobby Art stamp sets.
Take a look at the events page on the website as Jenny is back on Create and Craft regularly and also holding some fantastic workshops…….
